Unable To Lock Record Error

The following error message displays when two or more users attempt to edit the same record simultaneously.

Because Auction Flex does not allow this, the software automatically allows one user to edit and disallows the other user(s). The disallowed users receive the error message, and any edits made will not be saved. If this occurs, click the OK button and wait for the selected user to exit the record before again attempting to edit the record.

This situation is most common when two or more people are cataloging or clerking the same lot from two or more workstations at the same time.
