Guide To Modem Lights
The following explains the meaning of the various lights on modems.
1 Red Light
The proper working indicator for the RF Modems is one red light. This indicated that both the Modem and the PC it is connected and are ready to use.
3 Green Lights
When the modems are in use, those are a real rough guide to how strong the connection is. If only the three green lights are on, there is a power issue—either too much or too little.
4 Green Lights, 1 Amber
Unplug the USB for the modem from the computer and move to another port on your computer. If the lights do not change by changing ports, you will need to reinstall the modem drivers.
