Alternate Bids
If you have bidders without HiBid accounts and want to submit bids on their behalf, you can now do this under Auction Day > Alternate Bids. Just make sure to check in the bidder first via the Check-In tab.
You can enter alternate bids individually or in batches of up to 10 at a time. For even greater convenience, you can also import a list of alternate bids using the bidder number, lot number, and max bid. These bids will then upload to HiBid, and the system will automatically bid on behalf of your Floor Bidders up to their maximum bid amount.
For more details, you can click the small “I” icon next to the Add Alternate Bids button for additional information. This feature simplifies the process of managing alternate bids and gives your in-person or phone bidders a seamless way to participate in the auction.
