Refunds
You can process both full and partial refunds for transactions made using HiBid stored cards and credit cards processed with the Global Payments card reader. However, only full refunds are allowed for Global Payments invoices and debit cards processed through the card reader.
How to Process a Refund:
- Open the receipt
- Click on the Task Menu
For a Full Refund:
3. Click Full Refund
- a. Click Yes
- b. Type “Yes” and click OK
- c. Once the transaction processes, you will be prompted to print the refund receipt.
For a Partial Refund (credit cards only, not available for debit cards run through the card reader): 4. Click Partial Refund
- a. Click Yes
- b. Type “Yes” and click OK
- c. Enter the amount you wish to refund
- d. Click OK
- e. Once the transaction processes, you will be prompted to print the refund receipt.
Make sure to use the partial refund option only for credit card transactions, as it will not work for debit cards processed through the card reader.
