Webcast Auctions Audio & Video
This page will help you with audio/video setup for your webcast auctions. For an overview of webcast auctions, view the Webcast Auctions help page.
1. To start audio/video, click the Audio / Video button. You can then click checkboxes indicating whether you will be using audio, video, or both.
2. Right-click your logo in the middle of the small Audio / Video pop-up box and select Settings.
3. An additional pop-up box will allow you to ensure your settings are correct. Options may include:
- Display – Make sure the Enable Hardware Acceleration checkbox is checked.
- Privacy – Checking this option allows the broadcaster to access your camera and microphone. You can also check the checkbox that allows it to remember your preference.
- Local Storage – By default, these settings are set at 100 KB; this tells you how much information your webpage can store on your computer.
- Microphone – This allows you to choose your microphone, change the recording volume, and optionally reduce echo.
- Camera – This enables you to select the camera that you will use for broadcasting.
4. When you have made all of the desired selections, close the pop-up box and click the Start Broadcasting button. The window can now be minimized provided that it is broadcasting correctly.
