Set Bidder Permissions
The HiBid reputation score serves to help auctioneers control who can bid in their auctions and in other HiBid auctions. When a bidder first creates a HiBid account, they automatically have a score of zero. Bidders are rewarded with positive points for bidding in auctions, paying on time, picking up their lots, and so forth; they are downgraded with negative points for doing the opposite.
1. Click the down arrow next to your username at the top of your HiBid page and select Permanent Bid Permissions.
2. Select a bidder’s name and click the Profile link to view that bidder’s complete current reputation information. If a bidder’s score is less than zero due to a permanent decline, then that bidder cannot register and bid at your auction. They are placed into a “pending” scenario.
3. Click the Edit button to open the Edit Permanent Bid Permission Amount box.
4. Here you can opt to check Permanently Approve A Bidder or Permanently Decline A Bidder.
5. Click the Save button to confirm your choice.
